She scratches to the point of breaking skin and giving herself scabs, and will groom her mane *incessantly* until her chin is drenched and her fur is drenched and I just can't take the sound of her schmecking anymore. Lately it's her neck she's been obsessed with. No fever, no loss of appetite, still super super super affectionate and beautiful and lovely and vocal. No change in food, litter box, or water situation. She doesn't have fleas, and all the cats in the home are treated with Revolution or Advantage. And now she's taken up *really, really excessive grooming and scratching* as a very serious hobby.
Then she was just totally chill for a while after moving into this house.
